I have now gotten used to the hassle of manually enabling the add-in each time I open Outlook, but I would obviously prefer to get things operating properly. I have uninstalled iCloud, "repaired" Outlook, re-installed iCloud and the situation has not resolved itself. However, each time I closed Outlook and re-opened it, the add-in had once again been disabled and had to be manually enabled again. I enabled it via "file", "Options", "Add-ins" in Outlook and it then worked just fine. A few days ago, I noticed that the add-in was not enabled in Outlook. It has worked reliably for more than one year, reliably syncing data between my PC, "the cloud" and my iPhone 4s.

I have installed and synced the iCloud add-in with Microsoft Outlook 2013 (32-bit) on my Windows 8 (64-bit) desktop. Not sure how you stumbled on this solution, but I was ready to pull my hair out until this worked for me. Being a programmer myself, it always bothers me when installs don't "connect" the right pieces and force us all to go hunting for mysterious solutions to these problems. But, lo and behold, I blindly followed the below procedure and Outlook is working perfectly with iCloud. I am not sure WHY adding the plugin by browsing to the file (.dll) worked while simply letting the plug-in do it for you did NOT work. Actually running Outlook at Administrator worked great, but I thought that was simply a temporary solution.įor me, jayc2111 hit the nail on the head. Ignore solution of trying to sign into outlook as admin/ uncheck icloud add-in/ restarting computer/ reopening Outlook as admin/ turning add-in back on/ signing out and back into Outlook normally.

I tried at LEAST 5-6 fixes that I found here and on other forums. On the right, double-click on LoadBehavior and check the value: if it say 0, set it to 3. Now you should see the "refresh" icon again within Outlook 2013. Mine was located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common FIles\Apple\Internet Services\APLZOD32.dll In Outlook 2013 go to File >Options >Add-Ins >Click "GO" at the Manage: COM Add-ins >Add > add the APLXOD32.dll from your files. This will setup iCloud for Outlook once again.
